Shoptalk 2019 Recap
The folks from Hawksearch just got back from the 2019 Shoptalk conference and are super excited that they had the opportunity to participate in such a great event. It was also a really good reason to leave a cold and a dreary March Chicago to head to Las Vegas for four days of spending time with many great online retail industry colleagues.
Held at the Venetian Hotel on the Las Vegas strip from March 3rd – 6th, the Shoptalk conference brought the best retail, ecommerce and technology professionals together for some top quality insights, education, strategic planning and networking. The days and nights were chock full of engaging breakfasts and dinners, break-out sessions, roundtable Q+A events, dynamic speakers and the sharing of unique perspectives from experts in all areas of the industry.
One of the best aspects of the Shoptalk conference is that the show had something to offer for ecommerce retailers of all sizes and types. Whether the attendees were major web retailers, mid-size organizations wanting to grow or entrepreneurial, start-up tech companies, everybody went home with valuable experiences and a new awareness for future online retail opportunities.
Hawksearch had some wonderful opportunities to visit with customers, our great partners and start some new conversations about how we can provide the most personalized, relevant search results to online retailers, regardless of company size or industry. We also had some really good discussions with ecommerce marketing and merchandising leaders about how they utilize our dashboard tools to help them reach their online goals, with such tools as boost & bury, Relevant Recommendations, Smart Autocomplete, SEO Booster, pining, banners and much more. The steady requests for Hawksearch demos at our booth made the days go by all too fast.
Many industry professionals shared with us their views that the world of online retailing continues to evolve at lightning speed and competitive challenges never stay stagnant. There has been a dynamic revolution in online retail during the past decade and future opportunities seem to be unlimited.
We were pleased to share our perspective that having a powerful and effective search and insight tool such as Hawksearch gives all online retailers a considerable competitive advantage by not only providing site visitors with meaningful and extremely satisfying search experiences, but also empowering online marketers and merchandisers with tools that will help them realize their objectives as well.
